The Book of Daniel [Chapter 1]

Jehoiakim = Jih-HOY-uh-kim: God raises up. He was the king of Judah, however came
Nebuchadnezzar = neb-yoo-kad-NEZ-uhr: O Nabu, preserve the offspring [The boundary stone]
He is the king of Babylon = BAB-ih-lahn: gate of the god, which in Greek, is clear for them: Confusion; to pour over, and all together confusion.
However, Jehoiakim did evil in the sight in God
Ref: 2 Kings 24:1-5
2 Chronicles 36:5-8 He was twenty five, and reigned 11 years but did which was evil in the eyes of God. You see also the vessels of the house was also taken with them. But we need to focus on the drivers of this book to understand the outcome.
He was given in the hands and the vessels was also, these belong to God.

Verse 3-4

We have Ashpenaz = ASH-peh-naz: A Rab-Sar-is, the horse’s nose. Meaning nothing more that what he was. He was the master of the Eunuchs = Chief’s or leaders of the king men.
4: He wanted children of no blemish, and well favoured, base on these qualities:
Wisdom, Cunning knowledge, understanding science, who they can teach the tongue of the Chaldeans. This is the problem with the in the first place
Abraham came from the Chaldeans [Ref: Genesis 12:1]
Ref: Judith 5:6-19 The history of Israel is here in a nutshell.
Ref: Proverbs 26:11 Will They return to their vomit? The first test is to see will they eat the food appointed from the king?

Verse 5

This is to see are they going to be obedient to the king, or to God?

Verse 6-7

We have four children of the tribe of Judah
Daniel = dan-yel: Judge of God; Spiritual means; One who delivers judgement in the name of God.
Hananiah = han-uh-NIGH-uh: Yahawah is gracious; Gift of the LORD.
Mishael = mish-a-el: Who is what God is; Who asks?
Azariah = az-uh-RIGH-uh: Yahawah has helped; whom Yahawah aids. So we have The one who delivers judgement in the name of God, Yahawah is gracious: Gift of the LORD. Who is what God is, who asks? Yahawah has helped, whom Yahawah aids.
The prince, the master of the chiefs change their names and gave them Chaldeans names: Ashpenaz = ASH-peh-naz, the master of the chiefs.

Name changes:

Daniel was given Beleshazzar = bel-tih-SHAZ-uhr: Bel, protect his life; the lord’s leader from Judge of God
Hananiah was given Shadrach = SHAD-rak: Circuit of the sun, the Sumerian moon god, from Yahawah is gracious Same as in the moon God being gracious and being a gift from God.
Mishael was given Meshach = MEE-shak: Servant of sin, servant of Ishtar, from who is what God is.
Azariah to Abed-nego = uh-BED-nih-goh: Servant of Nabu [Babylonian god of wisdom]. From Yahawah has helped. Meaning they have more wisdom because they are now servants of them. So who helped who?
Ref: Verse 2: The Lord gave Jehoiakim in the hands of Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel

Verse 8-15

8: Using the Name Daniel = Judge of God already knew he wasn’t going to defile himself with the meat or drank. Meaning the same. He wasn’t going to learn of the Chaldeans or live the life of them. The same as
Ref: Isaiah 4:1 They will eat their own bread, and have their own covering. But to remove sin, they want the name Israel only for that. So with that, The Judge of God requested of the prince another way to not defile himself.
9: The Judge of God was brought into favor with the prince of the eunuchs. However
10: The prince feared, if they didn’t eat what the king has appointed for them, they would look sickly and endanger his head with the king.
11: His name has not changed Ashpenaz = ASH-peh-naz when Daniel said to Melzar = MEL-zahr: The overseer over them.
12: To test his ways by giving them Pulse = herbs, vegetables (peas, beans, and lentils, and grains.)
13: From their appearance can be compared with the other appearance later.
14: This was tested for ten days
15: Daniel and the others appearance was better than the others

Verse 16

After that, the overseer Ashpenaz = ASH-peh-naz removed the daily and feed them pulse.

Verse 17-18

17: The four; Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: God gave them knowledge in the areas in all learning and wisdom:
Ref: 1 Corinthians 12:11 This same spirit is giving them different administration but the same spirit. You will see later the Spirits they have.
Daniel was given the understanding in all visions and dreams. and it stoped. Daniel was the focus, and he is the Topic
18: At the end of the three years [See. Verse 5] to be brought before the king. So this was the end of the three year period, and they were then brought before the king Nebuchadnezzar, [The boundary stone].

Verse 19-21

19: However, among the four, none was found as Daniel Judge of God = When Judge = Teach, Teacher, and Taught so this is saying teacher of God. Daniel was being compared to the others [and among them all was found none as LIKE Daniel, compared to.....Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, Daniel was the teacher. The Judge of God.
Ref: 1 Corinthians 6:3 We shall teach messengers.
Ref: Genesis 15:14 Who we will serve, He will teach
Ref: Genesis 18:25 Shall not all the teachers of all the earth do right?
Ref: Exodus 18:13 Moses sat and taught the people, righteously what is right.
20: So on all the matters concerning wisdom in his realm, his world, his domain, who is the topic on? Daniel.
He was found as the others ten times better than all Magicians. As if they have supernatural powers, and using formulas: being verbal or other means.
As with the Astrologers = This is Gentiles beliefs. Astrologers = Those who prophesy, professes the foretells the future events. These are also able to foretell events by the positions of the planets and stars. This is mocking God. King Nebuchadnezzar [The boundary stone] found in them to be far superior than what he is use to.
21: And Daniel continued. Continued in what? [Ref: Verse 17, Daniel was superior in understanding in all visions and dreams. This is the layout of
