Titus 3:1-3

Titus 3:1–3 CSB
Remind them to submit to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to slander no one, to avoid fighting, and to be kind, always showing gentleness to all people. For we too were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, enslaved by various passions and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, detesting one another.

Submitting to Rulers

If we render to Caesar what is his, then we leave plenty of space to render what is God’s
Matthew 22:21
Perspective Matters
Never obey a ruler contrary to God
But obey contrary to self.

Ready for every good work

Ready
Willing
Able
Is it good, right, beautiful?
THEN DO IT

Slander NO ONE

Avoid Fighting

Be Kind

Show Gentleness

Why?
Because that’s the opposite of how we behaved without JESUS

And our behavior is our testimony
