What is the purpose of scribes and Pharisees in bringing the woman?
What does the law says regarding adultery?
“If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
“If a man is found lying with the wife of another man, both of them shall die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman. So you shall purge the evil from Israel.
3. What does Jesus response to the Pharisees?
And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

4. What is the message of the story?
We are all sinners and condemed to death (eternal hell)
Christ came not to condemed us but to save sinners
Christ did not take lightly the sin of the woman (“sin no more”) but as God in human form, He chose to forgive the sin of the woman.
Forgiving and gracious God forgiving a sinner like you and me.
A hypocrite people who is looking something wrong for people. (Judgemental people)
A sinner who are recipient of God’s grace.
