Today I am going to speak about How much God loves His Children Oh what a glorious day it is. I will talk about how much He loved his children even before he formed them in the womb how much He Loved His Children even before the foundations of the World. That The Love of God has no limits nor can be verbally expressed this side of Heaven.
Before I can share with you His love I must lay the back drop’
As DR.Steve Lawson describes A BLACK VELVET BACKDROP THAT HELPS TO ILLUMINATE his love.
Think about it in this way The Backdrop is the fall of Humanity It is every Sin and act and in thought against A Holy God
The Bible says for the Wages of Sin is death therefore if we sin we are subject the a Holy God a Good God a Just God one who must in order to fulfill who he says he is pour His justice His wrath upon us.
It all started long ago in a far land in the Garden of Eden This is where Sin was born in Man, Where man was corrupted by the serpent by Greed By power By the very thought that He could be like God That by doing so he could remove the need of God
You may or may not know the story for those who do not I will read it and for those who do pay attention still see the aspect of deception How the serpent still devices the same trick the same tactics to snare us. To drive a deep wedge between you and God Pay attention as I read this passage of scripture hear the Words meditate on the words not just focusing on those in the story but How this story is really your story. Of How and Why you need a saviour because like them you have fallen short of the Glory of God.
Genesis 3:1–22 NKJV
Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ” Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings. And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?” Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.” And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” So the Lord God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life. And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.” To the woman He said: “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be for your husband, And he shall rule over you.” Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’: “Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, And you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.” And Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living. Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them. Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”—
Here God Created both Man a Woman in His Image He Loved them So much He would walk in The Garden with Adam their Fellowship was intimate was sincere. The comes the Vile Snake the Serpent the one who slithers who worms His way in to their Lives.
How many of you allowed a serpent to Worm His way into your life filling your minds with garbage a bad influence one who seemed only to bring you Down to destroy you, This is a old trick of Satan He is the great deceiver comes to you as a friend then turns on you like a rabid Dog not stopping until he has taken you further that you want to go and kept you there way longer than you want to be there,
And this is what happened that day in the Garden you see Satan out of Jeloucy out of Pride out of Envy wanted to destroy mankind because of Gods love for him. Satan too wanted to be like God he was beautiful powerful Angel chief of the Chiour in Heaven the most stunning Angel in all of Hesven and Satan thought to himself that He could be God so he gathered 1/3 of all the angels to wage war against God and was cursed and thrown from Heaven we know this as Satans great Fall
Here WE see Satan coming to man with the same Idea you can be like god
And Man just like Satan took that Idea and ran and is still running today
I look around and I see so many who still what to be God or be like God.
They worship them self filled with selfish ambitions motives and desires not doing for others unless it benefits them in the way of financial gain or recognition by others
Satan has wormed his way into our lives just as he did that day in the Garden.
Notice though The Love of God for Adam and Eve
He made the first sacrifice for them by slaying two animals and covering their bodies with their skins. This shows that even though God was angry even though God was unhappy He had a plan for the redemption of man through the ultimate Sacrifice which would come By God himself manifested as flesh as Jesus Christ that day of Calvary
A Few Glimpses of the Fathers Love for us is found in the scriptures lets take a look
Ephesians 1:3–5 NKJV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
2 Chronicles 6:14 NKJV
and he said: “Lord God of Israel, there is no God in heaven or on earth like You, who keep Your covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their hearts.
AS It was for isreal So is it for Us Gods Love for you is never failing
Romans 8:31–32 NKJV
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
No matter how many people dislike you hate you disagree with you if God is with you you have nothing to fear
Psalm 36:7 NKJV
How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.
Those protetive wigs of God shall cover His children in thier time of need
Psalm 109:21 NKJV
But You, O God the Lord, Deal with me for Your name’s sake; Because Your mercy is good, deliver me.
1 John 4:9–10 NKJV
In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
John 3:16 NKJV
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For some its hard to image how a man crucified by Romans has anything to do with their life now today, They are for focused on the spiritual aspect of God that God when he walked the earth so there is a disconnect not between them and the father or them and the Holy Spirit but between them and Jesus and How His life has any effect of their life
Today i hope to settle thier hearts to show that the greatest love ever know was through that of Jesus and what God did by his sacrifice.
We are told as christians that Christ was killed for us that it was his death that washed us of our sins and by his death and resurrection he has defeated death its self This is the basic formula for Christianity
Sometimes in a attempt so simplify we take away for the most important aspect and It is my belief that is what happened here
Story of giving my tetomony
Think about Sin not as a judicial Punishment like in a courtroom full of Jurors but in a Small claims court if you would as a financial transaction
One of the reasons the pharasees and saducees were so angry at Jesus was because he claimed to forgive others of their Sin. When it wasn His to forgive in thier eyes.
A example someone steals a car from you sells it and another man goes up to them and forgives them of the debt that they owe in the value of the car to you.
Can you see why this angered them because it did nothing to satisfy the debt of those that were done wrong to.
Unless it was Jesus Himself who was the chief of victims in which all such acts were commited against
Jesus as God in Human Form would have each and every sin as a personal attack from the creation to the creator
So by Jesus saying to those your sins are forgiven it was God himself canceling the Sin debt of those who he made Contact with
Now the ultimate Sacrifice take the ultimate lamb this is why they searched all year for one without blemish to take the sins away for the entire nation for a year.
Not only a Good man a perfect man could be such a sacrifice for humanity not for just one year but for ALL ETERNITY
Problem is that there is no Good men in the seas of men The Bible say there is non Good no not One.
So no man could keep the law no man could be righteous enough no man can earn freedom from the sin debt in which he owes But God being the loving God that He Is even before the foundations of the world has planned to redeem man kind through himself So it was God who would come to earth as a child in human form through the birth of that of a virgin to live a sinless life a perfect life that He would be the ultimate sacrificial lamb that by his willingness His own choice and of His own Will laid down His Life to take it up again and said IT IS FINISHED
The requirement of Wrath has been paid for like if I owed a 100000 dollars and you paid my debt that I couldnt pay to keep me from Prison
This is what Jesus Did
Your sin your desire to be like God
Demands Blood Demands death
And It was the love of the father just as he made the sacrifice for Adam and even to clothe them to protect them to love them
He sacrificed himself to pay the required payment that we may be set free. This was the ultimate love of God
John 15:13 NKJV
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
He has Given His Life for you
Romans 10:9–10 NKJV
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
He wants to Forgive your sin debt today he wants to release the sin the control of sin in your life that you would no longer be a slave to sin but a child of God that He love that he protects under his wing wont you give your hear to such a loving God today
