A Transfusion for Transformation

SCRIPTURE

Hebrews 9:22 KJV 1900

And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Each year 4.5 Million lives are saved by blood transfusions.

The Millions that seek these transfusion, do not seek them for the same reason.

Some need transfusions because of blood lost during surgery.

Some need transfusions because of injury due to an accident.

Some need transfusions because the body is not making blood properly.

Some who are anemic, those who suffer from sickle cell, hemophilia and even cancer every now and then need a transfusion...

and in case many of you who sit before me this morning haven’t realized it or not, we all have gone through a blood transfusion.

like others we have suffered from a disease that was meant to us out:

A DISEASE THAT LEAVES US WEAK

A DISEASE THAT LEAVES US WEARY

A DISEASE THAT LEAVES US WOMBDED

YOU MAY ASK REVEREND WHAT IS IT? IT’S SIN!!!!

THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST TALKED ABOUT DISEASES IN THE WORLD,SO TALKED ABOUT THAT THERE ARE 173 PASSAGES IN THE WORD OF GOD THAT SPEAK ON IT!!!!

I HAVE TO TELL YOU I MISS THE SAINTS OF OLD, THEY DIDNT MINE TELLING YOU ABOUT THEIR TESTS, TRIALS, AMD TESTIMONY; THEY PUT IT LIKE THIS:

“I WAS SINKING DEEP IN SIN FAR FROM THE PEACEFUL SHIRE DEEPLY STAINED WITH IN, BUT THE MASTER OF THE SEAS HEARD MY DISPARID CRY AND FROM THE WATER HE LIFTED ME NOW SAFE AM I!”

MANY OF US IN THIS ROOM TODAY AND CROSS THE LENGHT AND BREATH OF THIS COUNTRY WILL TESTIFY TODAY IN A RESOUNDING VOICE THAT:

“I KNOW IT WAS THE BLOOD, I KNOW IT WAS THE BLOOD, I KNOW IT WAS THE BLOOD FOR ME, ONE DAY WHEN WAS LOST, HE DIED UP ON THE CROSS AND I KNOW IT WAS THE BLOOD FOR ME!!!!”

WITH OUT THE SHEDDING OF BLOOD THERE WOULD BE NO REMMISSION!!!!!

1. PURGED WITH BLOOD - “Almost all things are by the law purged with blood” - From the reign of the law to the institution of the law down to the present this have been the situation.

mankind have always had a sense of failing, of coming short, and of being imperfect, for that reason man has constantly made sacrifice for his sins in order to become acceptable to God.

FOR SOME THERE IS A DILEMMA HERE IN POINT NUMBER 1, IT IS THAT WORD “ALMOST” (schkedon) ‘Nearly , just about, close to

“ALMOST ALL THINGS ARE BY THE LAW PURGED WITH BLOOD”

1. IN THE OLD TESTAMENT WE WERE UNDER THE LAW

2. IN THE NEW TESTAMENT WERE UNDER GRACE

3. IN THE OLD TESTAMENT THE SHEEP DIED FOR THE SHEPARD

4. IN THE NEW TESTAMENT THE SHEPARD DIED FOR THE SHEEP!!

2. SHEDDING OF THE BLOOD - THE TEXT SAYS: “WITHOUT THE SHEDDING OF THE BLOOD IS REMISSION”

IF THE BLOOD HAD NOT BE SHEDDED THERE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN A TRANSFUSION.

IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A TRANSFUSION THERE HAS TO BE SOME LOST BLOOD!

IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A TRANSFUSION THE PERSON SUPPLYING THE BLOOD HAS TO GO THROUGH THE SAME TEST AND PAINS AS THE ONE RECEIVING IT.

THERE ARE 8 MOST COMMON BLOOD TYPES IN THE WORLD.

(A+, A-,  B+, B-,  O+, O-,  AB+, AB-).

WATCH THIS: EVERY NOW AND THEN THERE COMES SOMEONE ALONG THAT IS CALLED A “UNIVERSAL DONOR”

A Universal donors is someone with an O negative blood type.  O negative blood can be used in transfusions for any blood type.  

THAT SOUNDS LIKE JESUS!!!!!

WHATEVER I GOT GOING ON IN MY LIFE THATS NOT RIGHT WITH THE RIGHT TRANSFUSION I CAN MAKE IT.

SIN HE CAN FIX IT, SICKNESS HE CAN FIX, SADNESS HE CAN FIX, SORROW HE CAN FIX IT!!!!

JESUS IS THE MEDIATOR OF GOD’S NEW COVENANT WITH MAN!!!!!
