Transcript
Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.
Things around us shaken: health wealth, safety.
Some things that cannot be shaken.
They will remain.
Kingdom of God.
Those things shaken and removed forget them.
Hold on to those things that cannot be shaken. Always remain.
Sometimes the things around us that can be shaken are shaken to Remind you that faith /salvation/kingdom we are in, cannot be shaken.
Our God is never shaken. He is our foundation. Trust in Christ alone for our salvation
Hebrews are going through troubled, dark, bewildering times.
That’s when FAITH is the most important. In troubled times.
Other things have to be shaken to remind us that the things of God cannot be shaken.
The letter to them and to us give us instructions for perilous times.
Came in the form of this phrase… LET US.

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
World that is shaking we can enter into rest.
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Don’t know of more needy time!!
Restrict our travel and say we can’t go to certain places.

Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
No better time than now to praise the Lord. Just because we are alive and saved lift our hands and shout.

In a kingdom that cannot be shaken.

There is a faith and a foundation that cannot be shaken.
Our God/Word/Kingdom… by His mercy/grace/help…His body, building,bride, His people cannot be shaken.
In the midst of a shaking world.
Then out of no where… Our God is a consuming fire!!
What does that have to do with us not being shaken?
Natural fire does… God does in the spiritual. God’s word, presence, spiritual fire...
Therefore we will not be shaken.

brings light into darkness. Glad in these dark days we were told were coming… We have been brought to the kingdom for such a time.
We aren’t a bunch of ignorant people stumbling in the darkness. We have a God and He is a consuming fire and He will lead us through the dark times.
Lamp/Light unto our path...
Light is on the inside when dark on the outside.
World is scratching their heads. What’s happening? What will we do?
They look to us and we can say we have light...
World’s in panic good time to tell others about Him.
They are looking for hope voice of reason, answers.
We have the answer! Our God that is a consuming fire. We are stepping in the light. Not walking in bewilderment.

Compassion and love of Jesus Christ. to a people sick of bad news...
His presence drawing nigh to us. Keeps us warm and close.

Comforter at the end of the bed…pull it up close and it will keep you warm.
At foot for the cross. Presence/word/mercy/grace.
Cold winds of this world will blow against you.
Draw me nearer precious Lord.

living in a dirty world. But He is a consuming fire.
Purify our hearts minds and lives in the midst of a filthy world.
Not time to back off our devotions double up. depend more on the Spirit. More prayer as you see the day approaching.
Yes evil world but He is a consuming fire.
How is the church going to make it in these sinful days. Purified.
Why we need God today more than any other? So we can be clean pure and holy...
The world needs the church to be pure. A dirty sinful carnal church cannot make a difference in a sinful society.
Be filled with a fresh touch with the power and presence of God The Church can stand like a beacon of light and a champion of hope offering answers to a world that is looking for answers.
If the church gets purified through all this and revival breaks out I will take it!!

If we have been to Calvary and sins forgiven we have been saved from wrath to come.
Our Father and fire escape.
Only fire we need to feel is the fire of the Spirit of God.
A land that is fairer than day and we are going somewhere because our God is a consuming fire.
LIGHT WARMTH PURITY VICTORY
God will you let your preachers be a voice of reason, hope, victory in a world of defeat and despair.
Trust our kind gracious heavenly Father who has never failed us before!!! And will not fail us now!!!
In a world that is shaking don’t get shook up.
He is alive/real/near and He loves us and cares about us.
My hope is built on nothing less that Jesus Blood and righteousness.
On Christ the solid rock I stand...

We must turn our eyes upon Jesus.

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
When you see this LOOK UP, for your redemption draweth nigh!!
Hallelujah what a Savior
If you don’t know Him this the the perfect time to get to know Him.
If you know Him this is an awesome time to live for Him.
