What does worship mean?
What does worship mean?
The variety of ways that the word worship is used has caused me to seek to more fully my need to understand its meaning. Its fundamental meaning is to pay reverence to God. I ask myself if the various usages of the word worship distract from the intended purpose. Looking at the various ways the word is applied in a corporate gathering causes me to “stretch” my understanding of what it mans to worship. :

Broaden the general focus of worship and we discover man worships a lot of things in life. Anything that man loves and devotes time and attention to is often an object of his worship.
