Intro

very common saying “faith over fear” sometimes we need to know that we have power to place “faith over failure”
we can become resolute that a matter is not going to work out.
if you remember the wedding at Cana “when they ran out Jesus stepped in”
the principle hasn’t changed. we’re still running out and He’s still ready to step in.
Goal for today is that you be ensured you’ve got more victories to win. I know cases are spiking. Jobs reports, 2 candidates that are old, job layoffs but you’ve still got some victories to win!
Romans 8:37 NKJV
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
the wrong voice can set you up or take you out
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
she’s making her preparation “and when he came to the city gate”
Probably more than one voice.
“You don’t need a lot of voices, just the right one.”
App: COVID has created some schizophrenic Christians, you’re catching so many “words” until you don’t what to do! Are we going to die, or thrive, end times or time to live, Jesus coming or is the anti-christ here
COVID came to expose wrong voices.
- this is the problem, they’ve been there so long, until their absence “sounds” wrong.
- I can’t help you there. You’ve got to make the decision, do you want to keep getting what you’ve gotten or are you ready for something new!!!

Whomever is in your ear determines what you produce

Words are seeds. “There’s power in words.” This is because they’re pregnant with reproductive power.
Mark 4:15–20 NKJV
15 And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble. 18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, 19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. 20 But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”
Words have seed power. The power of the seed is determined by the soil.
Beware, wrong voices lead to wrong people that do wrong things… Like, won’t help you!
1 Kings 17:10 NKJV
10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, indeed a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, “Please bring me a little water in a cup, that I may drink.”
I’m in the text…how is she going to be collecting twigs and people of position, power and influence be present and not help?!
In my minds’ eye. You’d thought she was QT.
Beggar: “Excuse me sir”
Me: “Can’t help you!”
“Pastor that’s mean!” No it’s not, the same man was there earlier in the week and got 10 from me cause his wife and kids in the car!!!!
Biblical times “gates” were places that movers and shakers hung out. They knew she was broke and still wouldn’t help her!!!
Pt: Silent voices speak volumes!!!!
Voices in your head prepare you to be dead
1 Kings 17:12 NKJV
12 So she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die.”
Pt: You can have your own ear! Have you ever argued with yourself?! When the argument is over, you’re more angry at you than you were before the fight!!!
You’ve got to learn to retrain what you’re saying to yourself.
Whomever is in your ear determines what you produce
vs. 13 “do not fear” don’t have anxiety about, don’t get worked up. “All I want you to do is go ahead and do what you were going to do.”
God never gives an instruction without expecting a reaction. Your action may be “I ain’t doing that”
In this case, Elijah sense/recognized her “fear” and speaks a word to cancel the wrong reaction.
But he issued another instruction.
he cancelled what was going on in her mind, so she would have more than what she needed in her hand
I’ve been telling you COVID came to bless you! If you lean into, you’ll be better on the other side of it! You’ll never get there walking in fear!
If you’re going to move in realm of Miracles Signs and Wonders, you’re going to have to learn to walk in faith that matches.

Whomever is in your ear has the power to move you higher or lower

Elijah’s word cancelled all the other words! ie. the right voice cancels all the wrong voices
she had the ability to do it “I commanded a woman there in Zarephath”
you speak the wrong words that carry the wrong frequency over yourself.
ill: “nobody understands me. nobody is on my level.” and to this day, he remains misunderstood
her level was the bottom. the only thing next was death for 2. e was trying to get her to come up to his which was supernatural. but it took her changing her mind.
you will never get to the level of life speaking death level words. life and life abundantly. “your jars won’t run dry.”
but there was no water v 14 “until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth”
STOP!!!!
Your faith is already working for you BECAUSE HE’S COMMANDED IT TO WORK!!!!
1 Kings 17:9 NKJV
9 “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.”
1 Kings 17:10 NKJV
10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, indeed a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, “Please bring me a little water in a cup, that I may drink.”
Q: Where was she getting the water from?
1 Kings 17:14 NKJV
14 For thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth.’ ”
Your faith is already working for you!!! It’s producing water in a dry season!!! Last I checked, you can’t make a cake without water!!
Pause: You need to take a minute and thank God for what you’ve overlooked!!! BECAUSE HE’S COMMANDED IT TO WORK!!!!
God’s just using His Word today to push you into your abundance!
you don’t even realize what’s at stake!!!
your bin and your jar is at stake. (v 14) app. the containers to hold more of what you’ve run out of. tell you what’s at stake, enough to get you through the dry season “until God sends rain”
a changed mind fills empty, empty jars.
