INTRODUCTION:
“A unusual subject no doubt to you that maybe never thought along this fact...” “I want to mention some things that Jesus had in his possession... maybe he is holding them in his Heavenly Wardrobe... sort as souvenirs, reminders maybe to those that make it to Heaven of what he experienced when he was here on earth...”
English Standard Version Chapter 27

Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary Crown of Thorns
CROWN OF THORNS Crown made by the Roman soldiers to mock Jesus, the “King of the Jews” (Matt. 27:29; Mark 15:18; John 19:3; not mentioned in Luke). The identification of the plant used to plait this crown is unknown. Jesus used the imagery of “thorns” in his teaching in a negative sense (Matt. 7:16; Mark 4:7, 18; Heb. 6:8). See Plants.

The Roman’s scourger’s whip was one of the most dreaded instruments of punishment—(Cat-with-nine tails) with steel tips on the end of each strand. “What Jesus has reserved for those that love Him: In Heaven’s Wardrobe.”
