Every year, we challenge the church to give God your best offering ever. We’ve called it Miracle Project offering and we do it every October because it’s a month for harvest.
We are believing with you, as you put your seed out there, that you would reap a harvest.
This year, God put it on my heart to change the name of the offering to Legacy Builders Offering. What does it mean to be a legacy?
A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children,
but the sinner’s wealth is laid up for the righteous.
An inheritance isn’t always money, it’s legacy, what are you building or tearing down for the generations coming behind you?
Well we want to be legacy builders, we want to build something for the next generations to come.
This year, as we change the title to Legacy Builders, I want to honor my father, Carlos Roman Sr. in the fact that he was my legacy builder.
There’s no doubt in my mind that he saw this building and prayed for this building before we even knew it existed.
I believe he’s helped paved the way for us, here at word of life, through his actions and faithfulness.
And showed many of us what a man of faith looks like.
We want to honor him today as we kick off this offering time -that we would vow to also follow Christ’s example of reaching others & next generations for Christ as we sow these seeds of faith.
