Easter 2021

It is the resurrection of Christ that is the linchpin of our faith, because it proves the truth of everything God ever promised, everything Jesus ever said, and everything the Bible claims to be true.

If the resurrection never happened, we have no reason to believe anything the Bible says. As the Apostle Paul once wrote:

1 Corinthians 15:17–19 ESV

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.

If Christ did not rise from the grave, our faith is misplaced, our lives are a lie, and we are headed for hell.

But if Christ did rise from the grave, our faith is indeed the evidence of what we have yet to see, our lives are secure in the hands of a loving Savior, and we are headed for eternity with Jesus.

And His victory is our victory.
