Introduction
I never lived in a house with a mud room. By definition, a mud room is that entry point of a house where muddy shoes and wet clothes were to be left so that it would not be tracked through an otherwise clean house. I remember forgetting a few times to take off my shoes when they were muddy. Inevitably, I would be asked, "Who tracked mud all over this house?" That question only had one right answer in my opinion, "Not me!" However, that answer was always the wrong answer. You see, the choices I had made became evident by the stains on my shoes and my clothes. I was guilty and the filth showed it.
As we continue our study of the Wardrobe of God, I am reminded of His purity and how impure I am, guilty and stained with the filth of my choices. Yet God in His rich mercy has provided an opportunity for me to be made clean. He has replaced the filthy clothes with clean rich clothing. Our topic this week will be The Wardrobe: Purity. We will be looking at Zechariah 3:1-7. I hope that you will be able to join in on our church's Facebook page live at 10:45 or even see the recorded version as it will be available for later viewing.
