Behold I Stand

The Lexham English Bible Chapter 3

20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock! If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, indeed I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me.

Jesus comes to those that He wants a relationship with.

The greater is coming to the lesser.

Behold, I am coming to you when you should be coming to me.

He does not send a representative but He comes himself.
