We have talked in the past weeks about sharing the Gospel
BEING EFFECTIVE, BEING INTENTIONAL AND, BEING RELATIONAL!
We have establish how crucial these steps are for you to get to a place in our life were you are ready to be the tool in God’s hand that he uses to give people an option for redemption.
ARE YOU READY?

You Can’t be Ashamed or Live in Fear!

Some might think that being ashamed and living in fear are two separate things however, there is not much difference between the two.
If you are ashamed of the Gospel then you will not share it!
If you live in fear of what others think of you or what they may say if you were to share Jesus with them then you are ashamed of the Gospel!
we must come to a point in our Christian walk that we realize that at the end of the day the Gospel is all that matters!
Romans 1:16–17 KJV 1900
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
In order to be intentionally effective in your relationships we can’t be ashamed or fearful of sharing our faith.
because God will give you opportunities to do his work.
In my life I have missed several opportunities that God has given me to point people to him and most of them were a factor of fear.
I was afraid to do what God was leading me to do in that moment.
In a way you could say I was ashamed to do the work of Christ.
I think in some ways we all have experienced this.
Satan tries everything he can to stop us from doing God’s work.
when we conquer the fear on our lives we can be bold for Christ and seize the opportunities that God gives us to be effective for him.
we must never forget or get discouraged because God has called us to be faithful and obedient. that doesn’t always mean we will be successful.

Step one, all have sinned!

the only thing that separates us from the lost is we are found! we must never look down on people that are living a sinful life! we must approach every situation with love and grace and like we have said in previous messages, never forget where you came from.
we have a bad habit as we get involved with a church family turn our back on the world and forget we are just sinners that have been saved by Grace.
if we forget this it makes it hard to relate to those that are still living a worldly life.
Romans 3:23–24 KJV 1900
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Paul tells the church in Rome to level the playing field!
we have all sinned against a holy God.
We must never forget this! I think this is the biggest stumbling block for Christians today. we are no different that the ones we are called to save! We have been saved by the same Grace we are trying to share with others.
When we take on the spirit of humility, people see that we generally care about their well being and their souls!
Romans 5:8–9 KJV 1900
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Jesus did not die for the saint! He died for the sinner!
I don’t know about you but I am no saint. I know I am a sinner and that puts me in a position to relate to people that are in the same situations.
That should put a desire in our souls to see others come to know Christ as we have!
I am thankful to Jesus every day for paying my debt to God for my sins!
that sets up the next step!
Romans 6:23 KJV 1900
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Through our sins against an almighty God we have earned out spot in condemnation.
It is only through what Jesus has done for us that we have an opportunity to claim the free gift of his salvation.
this is the game changer and the part that is so hard to understand for most people in this world.
that salvation is a free gift from God through what Jesus has done for us!

Step Two, confess with your mouth!

Romans 10:9–13 KJV 1900
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
All mankind has been given the opportunity for salvation and the only thing that they have to do is confess and believe!
that's it, its that simple we must not over complicate salvation!
I’m reminded of a question that Dr. Frank Turik ask Atheist when he does his seminars around the country.
he asks Atheist a simple question, “ If Christianity was true, would you follow it?”
some actually say no! why? because it comes natural in our fallen state that we don’t want to be accountable for our actions and a lot of people turn from God because they want to live there life there way!
When we submit to Christ we are saying that we live our lives for him and not our selves!
We must confess with our mouths that Jesus is our King and savour!
That is how we are saved, this is how we share salvation with others!
