This term means that someone - the subject - is, or should, get what they deserve.
Let’s look at the some of the ways this term is used in the Bible.

The wrath of God is the “Just Due” for those who oppose His will and His people (Revelation 16:6).

Revelation 16:6 NKJV
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, And You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.”
Luke 11:49–51 NKJV
49 Therefore the wisdom of God also said, ‘I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and persecute,’ 50 that the blood of all the prophets which was shed from the foundation of the world may be required of this generation, 51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah who perished between the altar and the temple. Yes, I say to you, it shall be required of this generation.

Our reverence is the “Rightful Due” of God (Jeremiah 10:7).

Jeremiah 10:7 NKJV
7 Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? For this is Your rightful due. For among all the wise men of the nations, And in all their kingdoms, There is none like You.

Our praise and worship is “Due His Name” (Psalm 96:8).

Psalm 96:8 NKJV
8 Give to the Lord the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come into His courts.
1 Chronicles 16:29 NKJV
29 Give to the Lord the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!

“We receive the ‘Due Reward’ of our deeds” (Luke 23:41).

Luke 23:41 NKJV
41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.”
Deuteronomy 24:17 NKJV
17 “You shall not pervert justice due the stranger or the fatherless, nor take a widow’s garment as a pledge.
Deuteronomy 27:19 NKJV
19 ‘Cursed is the one who perverts the justice due the stranger, the fatherless, and widow.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’
Proverbs 3:27 NKJV
27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in the power of your hand to do so.
Romans 1:27 NKJV
27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
