Welcome to Hype everyone! For those who don’t know, my name is Kent and I’m the youth and college pastor here at Crosspoint.
Let’s say that there was a golden pass that enabled you to have no homework for the entire year. Whenever you were assigned any homework, you just show the teacher this pass and the teacher is obligated to give you an automatic A+. This would be something that everyone in the school would want right? Think about all the free time you would have. Think about not having to stress out about meeting big project deadlines. Now imagine that your best friend has two of these golden no homework passes. They can pick anyone to have the second golden pass. But instead of giving you the extra golden pass, they keep it for themselves. How would that make you feel? How would you describe your friend?
This would be the exact same thing if you had recieved the truth of the gospel and didn’t share it with your friends around you. You have the knowledge of how to receive eternal life and avoid the wrath of God but for whatever reason you decide to keep the gospel to yourself. Now you are the friend with the golden pass who is too selfish to give it to your best friend.
Why are we talking about gospel still? You might be thinking, Kent we finished the acronym last week. Can anyone recite the acronym of the gospel? God. Our. Sin. Paying. Everyone. Life.
Even though we have finished talking about the gospel, the question we must ask ourselves is now what? What should I do no after understanding the gospel?

Christian Standard Bible Chapter 28
17 When they saw him, they worshiped, but some doubted. 18 Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
