10 Victory

James 1:1–21

All Christians will face troubles, problems, and sorrows. However, Christ wants to give us victory over all of these. Christ faced what we face—John 15:18–19.

1. THE PATIENCE—vv. 1–11

2. THE POWER—vv. 12–18

3. THE PRACTICING—vv. 19–21

All Christians can be a success in the Christian life. We can have victory over: (1) sin, (2) self, and (3) Satan. Satan brings defeat—Christ brings victory! Christ overcame—Matthew 4:1–11. Because He overcame, we too may overcome.1

A SONG OF VICTORY

“Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.” Exodus 15:1
