Where did the Giants come from before and after the flood?

I. The HITTITE spirit = sons of Heth which means sons of terror. Terror is an extreme manifestation of fear and fear is often related to the element of mystery and or the unknown.

II. The GIRGASHITE spirit = clay dwellers and or earthliness, this type spirit promotes an emphasis in your life on temporal things and eventually produces a disdain for things that are spiritual and eternal

1 Cor 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God . . .

The Girgashite spirit influences you to be overly analytical and to base your decisions on pros and cons rather than wisdom and revelation (Eph 1:16-18)

III. The AMORITE spirit = mountain people, in the sense of people who elevate themselves over others, through public boasting and or self-promotion

Psalm 94:4 They pour forth words, they speak arrogantly; all who do wickedness vaunt themselves

IV. The CANAANITE spirit = low-lands people, the low-lands refers to low earthly passions—Canaanite spirits are the spirits behind addictions and sexual perversions. This is one reason Sodom and Gomorrah are referred to as Canaanite cities

Genesis 10:19 The border of Canaanites extended from Sidon . . . as far as Gaza; as you go toward Sodom and Gomorrah

Genesis 13:12 Abram settled in the land of Canaan, while Lot settled in the cities of the valley (low-lands), and moved his tents as far as Sodom 13 Now the men of Sodom were wicked exceedingly and sinners against the Lord!

V. The PERIZZITE spirit = belonging to a village—people who grow up in remote villages are exposed to very limited opportunities for growth and personal development. When this occurs, a very low self-esteem often occurs and with a limited vision of life they are unlikely to dream of great things!

2 Samuel 4:4 Jonathan had a son . . . he was five years old . . . his nurse took him up and fled and it happened, in her hurry to flee, he fell and became lame and his name was Mephibosheth

2 Samuel 9:6 Mephibosheth came to David and fell on his face and prostrated himself . . . and said, “what is your servant, that you should regard a “dead dog” like me?”

2 Samuel 9:10 David said, nevertheless, “Mephibosheth shall eat at my table regularly!”

The Perizzite spirit wants you to think you are a disgraced, worthless dead dog of a person, but the King says, “you shall eat at my table regularly!”

VI. The HIVITE spirit = a form of the word EVE which means “mother of all living” and the Hivite spirit wants to give you a limited, distorted view of life!

Genesis 4:1 Eve gave birth to Cain and she said, “I have gotten a man-child from the Lord”

The phrase “I have gotten” speaks of receiving a form of an inheritance and the Hivite spirit on wealthy people influences them to develop a sense of entitlement

Luke 12:19 And I will say to my soul, you have many goods laid up for many years to come; take your ease, eat, drink and be merry

VII. The JEBUSITE spirit = Treading or Trodden down, it is a persuasive liar and convinces you to focus on your failures and your feelings. This results in you digging in some spiritual and emotional graveyards of things buried in your past

2 Samuel 5:6 Now the king and his men went to Jerusalem against the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, and they said to David “you shall not come in here, but the blind and the lame will turn you away . . . nevertheless, David captured the stronghold of Zion, that is the city of David (Jerusalem)!

GRACE = God’s supernatural power that enables victorious daily living and God’s Presence and Power becomes available on different levels!

Titus 2:11 the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all mankind!

EGYPTIAN grace = This dimension of grace imparts natural blessings to Believers and Unbelievers. A person in bondage still experiences the GOODNESS of the Lord, it is His goodness that leads him to repentance!

WILDERNESS grace = This dimension of graces imparts spiritual blessings to Believers even when they are in rebellion and unbelief but without the ABUNDANCE that God desires them to enjoy! Mercy drops of grace fall all around them until they are ready for the showers . . .

PROMISE-LAND grace = This dimension of grace imparts natural blessing, spiritual blessing and supernatural blessings that tear down strongholds, destroy spiritual kingdoms and manifest God’s Glory/Presence on earth as it is in heaven!

James 4:6 But God gives a greater grace . . .

God’s Grace will give you victory in your daily life and will destroy the seven spirits that hinder your destiny! But you need to use your Authority and Power to renounce and remove these spirits from your life!
