November Prayer Focus

Matthew 9:35–38 ESV

35 And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

It appears that the church as a whole is in a bad spot.

Churches are closing.

Churches need pastors.

Communities need new churches.

Local churches need laborers for themselves.

I have never met a pastor who said he had too many workers and not enough work.

Mark Lounsbrough reminded us that God is sovereign!

God can use First Baptist HC to fill the gaps.

Not a dream - it will happen - it is His will.

November Prayer focus!

Pray for God to raise up more disciple-makers in our church.

Pray for God to bring abundant spiritual growth and raise up leaders in First Baptist HC.

Pray that God would allow us to then be able to plant or revitalize church.

Pray that God would use us to stir other churches towards biblical thinking and living.

Pray for God us raise up laborers for CBM.
