Intro

Those who have been on missions trip understand that we serve a worldwide God.  Jesus is Lord everywhere!  Next week we celebrate the birth of Christ.  Immanuel, God with us, God incarnate…God in the flesh.  It is the very focal point of our faith.  If Jesus was not fully God as well as fully man our faith is useless.  It had to be God Himself that dies on the Cross, because it was His law that demanded death…and He is the only one that could fulfill it.  It had to be fully man on the cross to be a true representative for the human race.

Let’s not let Christmas get blurred by Santa Claus, and Christmas Trees, and vacation time. 

Luke 2.  Start a new tradition this Christmas if your family isn’t saved.

Thankfulness.  Psalm 107:1-3 (NKJV) " Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy, And gathered out of the lands, From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south. "

          That He loves

          Our Freedom

Christians around the world being persecuted for their faith in Jesus. 

-Churches being bombed in Iraq. 

-Christians being raped and sold into slavery in Africa because they call upon the Name of Jesus.
