Psalm 126:2–3 NKJV
2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” 3 The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad.
He really has done GREAT THINGS!!!
How many of you can say that God has done great things in your life?
Right here in this congregation, I can see people who I know have experienced:
-Addictions broken
-Marriages Saved
-Marriages found
-Debts supernaturally cancelled
-Body’s healed
-Lives transformed
-Have been saved!
Isn’t it interesting how so many people lose their passion & lose their love and awe of Jesus even though He has done GREAT THINGS?!
...but it’s a promise that this will take place in the last days we are living in.
Matthew 24:12 NKJV
12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
The love of MANY may grow cold, but that doesn’t mean ME!!!
It seems like a lot of people think Jesus was better to them at the start of their relationship than He is now
I’m gonna say something that might hit a little close to home...
It’s a lot like many marriages!
In fact, you will be able to apply a lot of the things I will say today to your relationship with your closest relationships!
Hebrews 13:8 NKJV
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
If Jesus was awesome on the day that we received salvation, He is awesome today -
If anything changed in this relationship, it was ME.
Psalm 51:12 NKJV
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
2 Corinthians 6:2 NKJV
2 For He says: In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
Story of Pop driving tours and always teaching me to look at our home through the eyes of those who have dreamed of coming to Hawaii for their entire life.

Keep a fresh attitude:

Don’t let others’ “Debbie Downer” attitudes and seeds of discontentment get into your heart.
Those people probably aren’t living the life you want to end up with, so ...
surround yourself with those you want to be most like
Proverbs 13:20 NKJV
20 He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.
Proverbs 4:23 CJB
23 Above everything else, guard your heart; for it is the source of life’s consequences.
Here’s how I want to live:
Revelation 4:8–11 NKJV
8 The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” 9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: 11 “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”
They don’t get bored
They have eyes that keep on seeing the awesomeness of God!
What we look at makes a difference
Peter walking on the water
Rich young ruler
2 Corinthians 3:6 NKJV
6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
Too many people focus on the Law’s “restriction” instead of the Spirit’s Life & Liberty!
How about you?

Remember & Make Memorials

Exodus 13:3 NKJV
3 And Moses said to the people: “Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out of this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.
Remembering landmark days in your walk with God is tremendously important!
Joshua implemented another strategy and tool for the people of Israel - somehow the further away from the moment we get, the more we seem to forget how awesome it was!!!
Joshua 4:4–7 NKJV
4 Then Joshua called the twelve men whom he had appointed from the children of Israel, one man from every tribe; 5 and Joshua said to them: “Cross over before the ark of the Lord your God into the midst of the Jordan, and each one of you take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, 6 that this may be a sign among you when your children ask in time to come, saying, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’ 7 Then you shall answer them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. And these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever.”
Talk about & rehearse the goodness of God often
Your testimony of God’s goodness is as important for you to hear as it is for anyone else!
When my soul is in the dumps, I rehearse everything I know of You
Psalm 42:6a ASV
