Today the enemy is still trying to destroy God’s people.

The Battle

Each of us has a role in the battle.

Joshua - lead the army. v. 10

Moses - to raise his hands. v. 11

Aaron and Hur - to support Moses. v. 12

We are a team each with roles in the battle.

The Victory

Joshua defeated Amalek and his army with the sword. v.13

Joshua knew that YAHWEH would go before him.

The same God of the O.T. is the same God of the N.T.

God will go before us also.

The People

Moses grew tired and couldn’t hold his hands up.

Aaron and Hur provided a stone for Moses to sit on and they held his hands up.

We need to support God’s people in the battle.

The Banner

Banners to show victory.

Banners to honor men and women.

Banners/Flags to honor our country, state, businesses.

The LORD is our Banner. v. 15
