Intro

We talk about topics and issues related to the Christian teen’s life around here.  But if we are not living consumed for the Master, it is worthless.  It’s like trying to talk about the awesome qualities of a good cheeseburger to a vegetarian! 

The stuff I am going to talk about tonight is going to seem crazy.  If I were to tell any youth pastor that I know they would give me a sympathetic little smile and say “Amen…”  Thinking “this guy is nuts.”

Zion a name for Jerusalem, but also for Heaven.

Going to be some changes that will be happening

Leadership restructured.  There will be different levels.  You will eligible for the top level of leadership after BT by the fruit that you are bearing not the potential that you may or may not have. 

Gonna need strong FAITHFUL leadership to press forward.

Guys like Shammah in 2 Sammuel 23:11-12

2Sam 23:11 (NKJV) And after him [was] Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. The Philistines had gathered together into a troop where there was a piece of ground full of lentils. Then the people fled from the Philistines.

12 But he stationed himself in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. And the Lord brought about a great victory.

The King had told him to defend.  Everyone else fled. He stayed put and defended a little patch of beans in the ground.  That day he went from a private to a general in a rapid promotion… faithful over little be made ruler over much.

Future:

It is long past time that we had a soul-winning ministry around here. 

There will be an intercessory prayer ministry team, that will be launched during a time of prayer and fasting and 24 hour prayer.  It will start at the appropriate time which will hopefully be soon. 

There will be a Gilead Healing Team ministry started where anyone who is in the hospital or has family in the hospital or anyone just plain sick.  They will be dispatched and go in boldness and pray. 

I am looking for people whom God raises up.  I am giving up the recruiting business.  You want to lead and minister, you better be anointed and appointed by the Holy Spirit.

*After acknowledging some good things they have done, Jesus goes on to say…
