Passion, Calling, and Vision

Dan 1:8

8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile

himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine

which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the

eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Passion, Calling, and Vision

Dan 1:3-5

3 And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs,

that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the

king's seed, and of the princes;

4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful

in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding

science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's

palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue

of the Chaldeans.

5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's

meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three

years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.

We preach Passion to our congregation. We

tell them that they have a Calling and that

“without a Vision the people perish”. But

what about our own lives and?

Passion, Calling and Vision are three things

that no man or woman of God can work in the

Kingdom of God without.

Passion is what gets us out of bed in the

morning and drives us all day long to

accomplish what others would never consider

achieving.

Our Calling comes from God and is the

ordination of His will for our lives and ministry.

Without this calling we are like Simon of old

who wanted to have the power of God, but was

not called of God.

Vision is what gives our Passion and Calling

direction that gets us past the obstacles and

hurtles that life and the enemy would place in

our path to hinder God’s will and purpose for

our lives.

Without our own personal Passion, we are just

doing a job. Without a Calling and a Vision for

the future of our ministries they will become

dormant and mute to a generation that is

crying out for help.

We can make a difference in this world. Our

lives and ministries can absolutely make a

tremendous difference in people lives, but not

without our own personal Passion, Calling

and Vision.

Vision without action is adaydream

Vision without action is a daydream.

Vision without action is adaydream

Vision without action is a daydream.

Action without vision is a nightmare.

Vision without action is adaydream

Vision without action is a daydream.

Action without vision is a nightmare.

Vision with action can change your world.
