Ephesians 6:10–13 ESV

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.

A Spirit of Fear, I'm talking about one that you go to sleep with and wake up with

That is not from the Lord

that tells you you are never enough where everything else looks big and you look small

This unseen realm is influencing so much of your addictions

IF you dont accurately diagnose the problem then you cannot attack the problem.

The problems that you and I face are much deeper than what you can see on the surface

There are many that believe that if you educate, throw money at, or pass laws the problems will go away

If you don't understand the problem you will not apply the right solution

So much of the mystical has been stripped away in Church in our post modern area and we have become so suspicious of what we cant explain. And we are so dismissive of the extraordinary and have become so logical in our thinking that it just really takes something extra bizarre before we get our spiritual eyes on.

THE POWER TO SEE WHEN LIFE IS IN TURMOIL

THE Illustration of a pinata- winging blindfolded hoping something good will come to you. Hoping you will connect. So many Christians are living their Christian life like that, they are blinded by their reason, they are blinded by their need to explain everything away

Maybe illustrate with the Best UFC fighters are the ones that pick their target and they strike with purpose. Precision over power… best to have precision and power

Why do we believe in the powers of darkness? Because Jesus did

Satan will do everything he can do to keep you from serving God

1. it is impacting the visible world,

Things began to make sense when they started sterilizing (germs) didnt come up with a cure but exposed to the reality that there an unseen realm

a. It is impacting your marriage or dating life

b. Your work life

c. So many of the addictions and depression

d. Sins and and addictions, how you view yourself and how you see others

e. So many of the things going on in our country

i. Abortion. Child sacrifice

Heavenly Places ( The Spiritual Realm)

Over an over again the Bible speaks of this world being intertwined with another world. The one world is made up of sight, smell, touch,taste and hearing. But the other world the one that most of us are failing to win in is the spiritual realm.

Ephesians 1:3 ESV

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,

Ephesians 1:19–21 ESV

19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might 20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.

He doesn't want you to figure out his Schemes

Ephesians 6:11 ESV

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

The word Schemes means deceptive plots

They are by subtlety, they are by trickery

He doesnt want you to figure out your authority

We wrestle Not Against Flesh and Blood

You see we often think that the devil does his most effective work when he is the Prince of the power of the air.... When we are hearing and telling ourselves lies, when we feel an opprsive atmosphere… But I want you to know that the devil does pretty effective work when hes working in the invisible and all you can do is hear the lies, and feel the fear,

But Paul reminds us that we are not wrestling with Flesh and Blood? Why because Paul is letting us know that the devil and demons do their m ost effective work when he or they are working through somebody else… it is one thing to hear something in our subcoscience mind, its another thing to experience the posion off of somebodies lips

Ephesians 2:2 ESV

2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience—

Here Paul tells us that yes he is the Prince of the power of the air, the invisible, but He also reminds us that he also is at work in and through the sons of disobedience.

He will get someone whos life is not in step wth the Lord Jesus Christ to come and do or say something to you tht the devil is already doing.

Watch out who you allow to speak over your life

Some of you have been living under a curse because of words that your parents spoke over you years ago… and not only have you been living under that curse but you have also aimed all of your hostility at that person that flesh and blood, because you mistook them as the enemy, this morning some of us need to break that curse off, and you need to just understand that person was simply a son or daughter of disobedience through whom the Prince of the Power of the air had control over

Familiar Spirits.

The bible uses the term familiar Spirits mainly in the Old Testament. And it refered to Mediums, necromancers and sorcerers that had demons that were like household servants, that would carry out their curses on an individual or vexes.

I want you to know that there are other familiar Spirits, or lets call them family Spirits, Demons that have been assigned to you and to your family. This is why generational curses are real, because we all have things that have been passed down throguh the generations, things that have been tripping our family up for a long time. They know where your weaknesses are, they know where your wounds are, the lies that trip you up and have you believing all sorts of messed up things. They know the tactics to hit your wounds, they have a well laid out plan, things that have been proven to work to keep you off track, to keep you from living in victory.

And what the devil doesn’t want you to know is his tactics against you, because if his tactics that are tried and true are discovered by you and the Holy Ghost gives you a battle plan.

Some of you have wives or husbands that are being trounced by the enemy and you think that throwing salt at them will whip them into shape. Listen human methods and passive aggressive behavior is not going to do the job, you need revelation from the Lord

Schemes Continued

His schemes are to trick you and then to trap you. He deceives you to defile you, so that he might destroy you. These schemes are meant to take you out of from your protective covering that comes from God.

But I want you to know what they dont want you to know. Im going to tell you because God wants you to know.... You have already been given the victory

The only power over you is that which you give them. They need permission from us to bring hell to us. Only when we yield ourselves through sin and decision that he has the power to destroy us

Much of what we call mental illlness is simply us giving devils permission to drive the thought patterns of our mind, much of what we call Bi polar or schizephrenia, goes beyond just physical and chemical reaction and are actually the result of demonic performance

And once you give demons permission to stay home like roaches they are not going anywhere and all they are going to do is infest more and more

He operates by consent and by cooperation

Be strong in the Lord

We wrestle against an unseen realm

Their job is to keep you from experiencing the full will of God

If we gave the spiritual world a piece of our mind as much as we gave people a pice of it we would live in freedom. But we lost our mind because we done gave

You say how do I get revelation, first take the log out of your own eye first and then you can see clearly how to remove the speck. Try humility before God

Gods of this world

… Ephesians 6:12 principalities, authorities, and rulers

Now I am going to introduce something to you that will almost seem heretical, it will certainly seem new to most of you in here because of the oversimplification of spiritual warfare in our churches.

Who are the Rulers, these authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, these spiritual forces of evil in heavenly places.

Well these Rulers, i submit to you were the sons of God, now there is only one son, that is begotten, that has always existed with the Father from eternities past and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. But there are places in scripture that refer to the Sons of God, and they are some Kind of Angelic beings that rebeled with the devil

Genesis 6:2–4 ESV

2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. 3 Then the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.

So these fallen angels impregnated women and had this hybrid race of half demnon half human, and Moses tells us that they are the men of Renown. This could be where legends of the demi God heros like Hercules, Achilles theseus and Perseus came from. Stories that were passed down from this breakout of Giants, these half God half human hybrids. Peter backs this up in his letters when he speaks about the demons that went beyond their alooteed territory and were locked up in the abyss.

THE DIVINE COUNCIL

Psalm 82 ESV

A Psalm of Asaph. 1 God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: 2 “How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah 3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. 4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” 5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. 6 I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you; 7 nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince.” 8 Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations!

Then we have this strange Psalm where God takes his place in the Divine Council, in the midst of the gods… the word for God’s there is the general Hebrew word for God Elohim, so he takes his place in the divine council in the midst of the Elohims.

In verse 6 God calls them all gods sons of the most High, but something happens because in the next verse he pronounces judgent against them.

What am I saying, I am saying that it is foolish for you to downplay spiritual warfare, because from Scriptures point of view which should be our only point of view, that there are sons of God that rebeleed and as they fell they rule different parts of the world...

So there really is a God of Islam- But He is a demon

There are Gods of Hinduism, but they are these fallen sons of the True God, they are worshipping powerful demons that are giving them spiritual experiences and locking their heart up with lies.

And the are coordinated, they are calculated, they are created, organized, mobilized and militarized and God forgive His Church for taking Prayer and fasting and evangelism lightly!!!

Here is the last thing I want you to see and that is they are defeated!!

English Standard Version Chapter 1

according to the working of his great might 20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

We serve the One and Only True God who sent his son and they gave a hellish halelujyah when he died on the cross, but they gave a hellish shriek when He came out of the grave holding the keys of death...

And here is a word to us Church… to all these powers and authorites and all this little g Gods, the bible says that he has made the church

Ephesians 3:10 ESV

10 so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.

Lord forgive us for being a church that lives in unnecary defeat. God has chosen to show his might and power his manifold wisdom through the church of Jesus Christ. This is why you need to be a part of the church a part of His body because that is where hell is put on notice and demons are evicted out of lives!!

Colossians 2:13–15 ESV

13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. 15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.

The devil has evangelists

The devil has workers- every so often we will have someone come in that has a strong demonic presence on them

STORY OF THE 2nd Jezebel- she came in and sat right behind me. And the atmosphere in the church was very opprssive. This woman immedietely started cauysing problems with our childrens workers. She came through some brand new Christians… that shortly left the church and never came back. The Holy Spirit placed the revelation that this woman had practiced witchcraft, and she called me the next day and I just came straight out and asked her if she had been involved in the occult, and she said oh yes, my first husband was high up in rank in the occult and she told me how she went through all kinds of cleansing ceremonies where they covered her in chickens blood and did all kinds of bizarre things. She atttached herself to some of the new Christians that we had at that time and before you knew it they quite coming to church and as far as I knew quiite serving God all together. What was that well the devil has workers\
