True Disciples

Intro

Our turn to seek

He is not content to simply let us stay as we are just with a destination change

If we have truly experienced Him there is a hunger that drives us to know Him. 

John 8:31 (MSG) "Then Jesus turned to the Jews who had claimed to believe in him. “If you stick with this, living out what I tell you, you are my disciples for sure."

John 8:31 (NKJV) "Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed."

Churches are filled with people who made the decision that you made last week or whenever, but have long since abandoned following Him.  They sit dead and dry and shallow.

The Bible makes no such distinction between those that are simply “saved” and those who are actively pursuing Him in a relationship.  Some would say “Oh they are saved, but Jesus isn’t their Lord.”

The true test of a genuine conversion experience is not whether or not you felt goosebumps, not whether or not you cried, but biblically the test is simply Are you sticking with it?!
