Intro

This passage speaks to the heavy hearts of Elders who were going to miss Paul. They shared a Saviour, They shared salvation, They shared solutions to their deepest problems of the soul. Their hearts were heavy like our hearts today for the same reason. It;s hard saying Good bye.

Verse 37

It’s Hard saying Good Bye to someone that you love

This is the response to their love for Paul. They wept, They embraced, They kissed. We showed our compassion or love when you showed up at the house. Took him to the doctor. Lined up his medicine. etc.

It’s Hard saying Good bye because there are things that you will miss.

Verse 38a

They were sorrowful most for the words that he had spoken. ( I won’t see you again)
