The Fight for Joy is mainly the fight to SEE.

Taste and See the the Lord is Good.
2 Corinthians 4:4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Strategies:

Meditate on the Word of God day and night
Psalms 19:8 the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
Jeremiah 15:16 Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O LORD, God of hosts.
Psalms 1:2-3 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers
Matthew 4:4 But he answered, “It is written, “ ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ”
Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
Faith comes from hearing
Romans 15:4 For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
John 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.
Memorize the Bible!
Pick a time of day where it will happen.
Pick a place a place where it will happen.
Pick a plan.
Learn how to meditate
In all your reading of the Bible focus on the centrality of God
I want to know Christ!
Get to know Christ!
All authority is mine
He loved them to the end
I Am and you will see him at the right hand of God
You have to see Jesus as glorious so read to know Him!
Don’t spare yourself the parts that display the horror of God’s Wrath
Nehemiah 1:11 O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants who delight to fear your name, and give success to your servant today, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.” Now I was cupbearer to the king.

Learn to preach to yourself.

Satisfy me in the morning
Psalm 90:14: Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
