Introduction
Introduction
A man was coming out of church one day, and the Achen was standing at the door, as he always was, to shake hands with the worshippers. As he shook the man’s hand, he pulled him aside and said, “You really need to join the army of the Lord.”
The man replied, “I’m already in the army of the Lord, Achen.”
So the Achen enquired, “Then why do I only see you at Christmas and at Easter?”
The man whispered back, “I’m in the secret service.”
Christians are in a spiritual warfare. The world, and the flesh are real enemies. These spiritual enemies are out to destroy the testimony and effectiveness of the believer.
our kids need to be trained to live in the world, but they should know that they dont belong to this world. They need to overcome the world.
We are in the world, but not of the world.
A story says, when a son of 6 years old says to his mom, mom I love you,
1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
2 He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.
6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
