AFTER THE ELECTION IS OVER?

This year’s election has been quite the roller coaster for Americans across the country, and I’m personally happy it will be over in a few days.
I know there is a lot of fear out-there, about who is going to be the president, who is going to control the senate, and don’t know who’s going to control the congress.
As Christians, we know that no matter how things turn out, our hope is not in this world, but in our Lord Jesus Christ. This should be an encouragement to each and everyone of us.
Deuteronomy 31:6 KJV 1900
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Pray

I. No Matter What Happens After The Election Results, There Are Somethings, That Will Never Change!

God will still be on the throne, He will never change!
We may be changing presidents, congress members, or senate member.
But God will not change, He will still be on the throne.
Malachi 3:6 KJV 1900
For I am the Lord, I change not; Therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Psalm 102:26–27 KJV 1900
They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: Yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; As a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: But thou art the same, And thy years shall have no end.
Jesus will still be the King of Kings and Lord of lords!
1 Timothy 6:15 KJV 1900
Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
Revelation 19:11–16 KJV 1900
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
The Bible will still have all the answers to every problem!
2 Timothy 3:14–17 KJV 1900
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Psalm 119:11 KJV 1900
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, That I might not sin against thee.
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV 1900
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Hebrews 4:12 KJV 1900
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The Tomb will still be empty?
Matthew 28:5–6 KJV 1900
And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Guess what?
If you go visit Jerusalem today, you will find that the stone is still rolled away and His tomb is EMPTY!
Jesus is in Heaven and seating on the Right Hand of God, making intercession for His children.
Romans 8:34 KJV 1900
Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Colossians 3:1 KJV 1900
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Hebrews 10:12 KJV 1900
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
Hebrews 12:2 KJV 1900
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Jesus will still be the only way to Heaven!
This will never change.
John 14:6 KJV 1900
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Romans 10:9–10 KJV 1900
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:36 KJV 1900
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Ephesians 2:8–9 KJV 1900
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
There’s not any other way to Heaven.
You can’t do it by:
Works
Money
Worship
Prayer will still work!
Prayer will still make a difference.
Colossians 4:2–3 KJV 1900
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
God still will answer prayers.
1 John 5:14–15 KJV 1900
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
Isaiah 65:24 KJV 1900
And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; And while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
God will answer your prayer, maybe not they way you want.
But, He will give you an answer.
The Cross, not the government, will still be our Salvation!
The cross, where Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself and shed His blood for us is the only our only salvation.
Hebrews 9:22 KJV 1900
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
The government may give you money, or some earthly benefits, but they cannot save you from hell’s fire.
John 3:16 KJV 1900
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The government can’t do that for you.
There will still be room at the cross!
Although, time is getting short, the trumpet of the Lord hasn't sounded yet.
There’s still time for you who haven’t accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal saviour to accept Him.
But, time is getting short.
Matthew 24:36 KJV 1900
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mark 13:32 KJV 1900
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
We are in the final days.
If you are a child of God, we need to be;
Witnessing
Spreading, the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone we meet.
We need to be talking about Jesus to our unsaved family members, friends, coworkers, to everyone we meet.
We need to be working the Great Commission of God.
Matthew 28:18–20 KJV 1900
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
We need to be the Lord’s Disciples.
Jesus will still save anyone and everyone who will place their faith, and trust in Him.
John 3:16 says, “Whosoever Believes.”
John 3:16 KJV 1900
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God will still be with us!
He will never leave us or forsake us.
Deuteronomy 31:6 KJV 1900
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Hebrews 13:5 KJV 1900
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
That’s a promise from the old and new testament.
God Keeps His Promises

II. We Should Never Fear, What’s Going On In The World, After An Election.

There is only one thing we should “FEAR.”
And that is “GOD!”
Proverbs 1:7 KJV 1900
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 KJV 1900
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Psalm 33:8 KJV 1900
Let all the earth fear the Lord: Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
Yes, we may have a new president.
Yes, we may have a different majority in congress.
Yes, we may have a different majority in the senate.
But, we will always have the same God the Father.
We, will always have the same God the Son.
We, will always have the same God the Holy Spirit.
Salvation, will never change.
You, can never lose it.
John 3:16 KJV 1900
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 10:28–30 KJV 1900
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one.
Ephesians 1:13 KJV 1900
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
2 Corinthians 1:22 KJV 1900
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
Ephesians 4:30 KJV 1900
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
1 Peter 1:5 KJV 1900
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
All these Scriptures tells me the same thing.
If you know Him, you will never lose it.
But, if you don’t know Him as your personal savior, you have a one way ticket to Hell.
And, it is by your choice, not God’s.
Romans 6:23 KJV 1900
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
2 Thessalonians 1:9 KJV 1900
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
Revelation 20:15 KJV 1900
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
There’s room for you now, but the door is about to close.
