God Speaks Through His Word

God’s Word has power.

In the beginning when the world was an empty chaotic void, God spoke. When God said, “let their be light” a ultralight beam came flying out of his mouth and darkness was defeated. When God spoke, His Word brought order to chaos. His word put the stars in their place, His word set the planets in motion, His Word gave life.

Where God’s word isn't heard and obeyed, Chaos and darkness win.

When Adam and Eve obeyed God’s Word to keep away from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, life was good. When they failed to listen to God’s Word…chaos and darkness won.

God Saves Through His Word

2 Timothy 3:15 CSB

15 and you know that from infancy you have known the sacred Scriptures, which are able to give you wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

God Sanctifies Through His Word

Years ago a young college girl said, “90% of our struggles would be solved if we would just commit ourselves to getting into God’s Word.”

While I cant speak for the accuracy of her statistic, I can say that she was on to something.
