All people, according to God’s Word, have sinned.

To sin means to “miss the mark”

It’s like a hunter when he misses his target.

It’s like a kicker who shanks a game winning kick.

To sin is to miss the target completely.

This is the diagnoses that Paul gives every human being who has ever lived.

We have all, according to Paul, sinned…we have all missed the mark that God required.
