End of last week was asked about “Stakes”
Shuey-Feng shui (Chinese: 風水), also known as Chinese geomancy, is a pseudoscientific traditional practice originating from ancient China, which claims to use energy forces to harmonize individuals with their surrounding environment. The term feng shui literally translates as "wind-water" in English.
Juju or ju-ju (French: joujou, lit. 'plaything')[1][2] is a spiritual belief system incorporating objects, such as amulets, and spells used in religious practice, as part of witchcraft in West Africa especially the people of Nigeria and Cameroon.[3][4][5] The term has been applied to traditional African religions.[6]In a general sense the term "juju" can be used to refer to magical properties dealing with good luck.[7]

In Greek the word for cross actually means “stake.” When you stake out your land, you are putting a symbol of the device used to orchestrate hour salvation. The the Word of God to those same stakes, and you have powerful symbol of your covenant connection to God surrounding you, your family and your possessions.

Jews were commanded to practice this procedure - Dt. 6 of putting God’s Word on their bodies and property including gate and doorpost. Gates and doors protect your family but God’s Word protects better.
Staking is a prophetic act. It foresees a future when goodness and righteousness rules the land rather than evil and disobedience. It involves setting aside a area as dedicated to the Lord and declaring that Jesus has dominion of it.

Reasons for staking the land:
To rid the land of evil spirits. To take the land back from the enemy. Num 33:52: “Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:”
We are taking our territory, saying we possess it; and no one can take it. Num 33:53: “You are to take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land to possess.…”
We are decreeing that this land belongs to the one true and only God.
It brings protection and safety, as you are anointing the land and pleading the Blood of Jesus over it.
God gave the land to us and we are to take care of it. Josh 1:3 “I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses.”
We are dedicating it to Him.
This puts a blessing on the land. Deut 28:8: “The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land He is giving you.”
