Introduction:

Today we are talking about what is Joy and why is it so important to us as believers. Why does the scripture speak of joy with such wide application.

The New International Version Psalm 46

10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;u

I will be exalted among the nations,

I will be exalted in the earth.”

Nehemiah 8:10 NIV

Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
