Specks in Eyes

Story -

Just before Julie and I got married - i worked in construction framing contractor in Ohio.

Go back to my roots...

Last day on the job - the sun was setting, we had just laid the floor on the first story

finished up my work, I needed to trim one last edge

As I cut with no eye protection on - a large gust of win kicked up

Lodged a sizeable sharp splinter in the corner of my eye

it hurt… very badly.

drove to Julie’s brothers home looking sideways

On the way - mentioned that a co-worker’s church was looking for a youth pastor.

The lord had to stab me in the eye to get my attention.

Specks in eyes hurt. Logs in eyes are ridiculous. Jesus is a good teacher...
