The Walk
Colossians 2:6–7 —Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, 7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
WALK in JESUS
Begin each day by reading a chapter of Colossians (6th) (Today—ch 1, tomorrow chapter 2, translation)
Ask God to impress a lesson upon your heart. Ask Him also to enable you to live out what He helps you to see. Once you complete the book, start it over again. Start over once you finish—chapter 3 tomorrow
Ask God also to fill you with His wisdom and understanding concerning the people and situations you face into the day ahead. Briefly think through the morning, afternoon, and evening.
Prayerfully identify the path the Lord would have you to take and then ask His help to walk it. Choose to walk in Jesus.
Conclude your prayer by marveling over God’s work of salvation on your behalf (Colossians 1:12-14).
Identify two additional reasons to be thankful and give thanks to the Lord.
FOCUS on JESUS
Colossians 1:15–20 — He (JESUS) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. 19 For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

Walk in JESUS.
Colossians 1:21–23 — 21 And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, 22 he (JESUS) has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard,
John 15:4–5 — 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister.
JESUS
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
