Our faith in Jesus does not prevent the giants from appearing.
Some believers in Jesus will contract the virus, will lose their jobs, find themselves feeling alone.
John 16:33 — I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world
Jesus is the key.
As we face our GIANTS (whatever they may be)
Focus DAILY on Jesus and His Word
Colossians 2:6–7 — Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, 7 rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
Faith is active, not passive. Our faith moves us toward Jesus.
Focus on His Word
Colossians 3:16 — Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly,
Read a chapter a day in the Gospel of John
John 1:4 — 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
John 8:31–32 — “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
By faith, direct your heart toward Jesus
Seek and ACCEPT HIS HELP
Matthew 6:9–11 (ESV) — 9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread,
Accept His Help—He will provide.
STEP TOWARD YOUR GIANTS IN FAITH
Philippians 4:13 (ESV) — 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
RESIST DOUBT AND TURNING AWAY
Numbers 13:30 — 30 But Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, “Let us go up at once and occupy it, for we are well able to overcome it.”
Numbers 13:31 — Then the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we are.”
Numbers 13:32 — So they brought to the people of Israel a bad report of the land that they had spied out, saying, “The land, through which we have gone to spy it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people that we saw in it are of great height.33 And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them.”
Numbers 14:7–9 — (Joshua and Caleb) “The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is an exceedingly good land. 8 If the LORD delights in us, he will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land that flows with milk and honey. 9 Only do not rebel against the LORD.”
