Jesus Prays Part Five

Just as Jesus Came into the World, So He Sends Us into the World - vs. 18

The work Jesus had been given required He leave his place of comfort and rest.

Our task must take us into engagement with the World around us.

Jesus Accomplished His Work through Unity with the Father - vs. 22

Jesus’ glory was on display as He fulfilled the will of the Father.

Miracles, teaching, compassion, encouragement were all displays of glory rooted in obedience to the Will of the Father

Just as the Godhead was Unified, So Must the Church be Unified vs. 21-23

Unity for the sake of the Gospel

Oneness that cannot be severed

Just as Jesus Accomplished the Will of the Father, So Must We - vs. 20

Our unity, forgiveness, hope and life is only possible because Jesus came to tell us that it was possible.

So the World around us needs us to be willing to share His grace with them as well.
