Introduction
Just about all churches that claim Christianity as their religion base a portion of their doctrine off Scriptures in the bible. Unfortunately, the doctrines of some “Christian Churches”, and I say that in quotation marks, are far from the full doctrine the Bible teaches. Some of these churches would dare to say that they believe that if they cannot understand what the bible teaches on a subject, then such a doctrine is not from God. This is fully untrue, on the contrary, because, as they see it, it brings God down to human understanding and not the other way around. One such doctrine is the biblical doctrine of the Trinity.
The doctrine of the Trinity is powerfully hard to understand. In fact, every illustration and definition thought of to describe it falls short of what the Bible teaches. But, to some churches, what the Bible teaches and what they can understand should be parallel. This is why they cannot accept the doctrine of the Trinity. They cannot comprehend it or understand it. But, if God is as great or greater than what we think He is, it is not out of the realm of possibility that the Godhead cannot be understood with a finite, human mind. In fact, this is more likely than unlikely.
So, these folks who claim to be Christians, warp the intended meaning of a passage so that it fits their understanding. Christ is mostly the person in the Trinity that is left out of being divine in their teachings, although I have seen the Father left out. The Latter Day Saints deny the Divinity of Christ. The Jehovah Witnesses deny the divinity of Christ. The snake handlers in applachia deny the existence of the Father and attribute their dancing with snakes to a command of Jesus. These are known as Jesus Only churches. So, in order to get the correct teaching, one cannot depend solely on the church he or she attends. No, they must look to the Bible and nothing proves the divinity of Christ more than His Preincarnated works.
