Our main goal as Christians is to get to Heaven. No place on earth can compete with what awaits us when we leave this earth. We know from the previous studies that Hebrews was written to Christian Jews who were under attack for cutting ties with their Jewish background. Their faith was being tested. Which was the reasoning for the examples of great faith in chapter 11. These examples are witness to the fact that the race can be won through faith.
