humility
An attitude of lowliness and obedience, grounded in the recognition of one’s status before God as his creatures.

Exaltating Oneself

EXALT - The Heb word most often translated “exalt,” “exalted,” is rūm; it means, “to lift up,” “to be or become high.” It is used with reference to both God and man, e.g. Ex 15:2, “My father’s God, and I will exalt him”; Ps 99:5, 9,
To Exalt meaning Status
1 Ki 16:2“Because I exalted you from the dust and I made you a leader over my people Israel, but you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and you caused my people Israel to sin, to provoke me with their sins,
1 Ch 29:11To you, O Yahweh, is the greatness and the power and the splendor and the glory and the strength, for everything in the heavens and in the earth. Yours, O Yahweh, is the kingdom and exaltation over all as head!
To exalt maning Praise
Eze 38:23And so I will exalt myself, and I will show myself holy, and I will make myself known before the eyes of many nations, and they will know that I am Yahweh.’ ”
Jesus Christ, exaltation of
Having completed his work on earth, Jesus Christ is raised to God’s right hand where he receives honour, power and glory.
