Eulogy for Mr. William Edwards
You can count on Jesus- Every time

Introduction
We gather to remember, honor, and to celebrate the life of William Edwards.
(Tell the deceased’s “story.”)
Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. 17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
Mr. Edwards was your gift
Therefore
There are three assurances that I wish to give you today.
I. Jesus’s love for you never changes.
· Jeremiah 31:3
· We become frustrated in relationships because people are fickle and people tend to change.
· Romans 8:37–39
· You will never need to doubt God’s love.
· God’s love never changes.
II. Jesus promise for you never changes. He gives us his word
1. I will never leave you or forsake you.
2. I have come to give you life and life abundantly .God so lived the world that he sent us Jesus to be a great offering for us all
3. Where I go I will return to bring you to that place.

III. Jesus’s purpose for your life never changes.
I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plan to give you hope and future
Conclusion
· What will be your life of choice be? I want you to Remember these three absolutes—the three spiritual anchors for your life:
· Jesus will never stop loving you.
· Jesus’s Word is always right and best for you.
· Jesus’s purpose for your life is bigger than your biggest problem.
As we celebrate Mr. Edwards life I want to leave you with

We therefore commit his/her body to the ground/its final resting-place; earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. In the hope of resurrection unto eternal life, through the promise of Our Lord Jesus Christ, we faithfully and victoriously give him/her over to your blessed care. Amen.
