Missions News – From Bob and Jan Springer
Through the cooperation of SonSet Solutions and two other mission agencies,
funds were donated, equipment purchased and installation completed for a radio
station in Madagascar. The license for a new station was granted in October and
then Bob tested and shipped the equipment. The station went on air 19 Nov
2016. The missionary wrote to all those involved (including FCCEA): “We
would love to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your precious
investment you made for Christian radio in northeastern Madagascar.”
Bob writes: “Madagascar produces 80% of the world’s vanilla. When you
have a dish of vanilla ice cream, remember to pray this new radio team will have
success in reaching listeners for Christ.”
Guatemala Mission Trip – Anyone interested in making the trip to Guatemala
next year needs to let Jesse or Patty know and have a $100 deposit in to the
church office by June 15th.
Free Day is this Saturday, June 3rd! You can bring your garage sale donations to
the church starting today after the worship service through this Thursday, June
1st. If you'd like to help sort items, we'll be meeting at 9:00 am on Friday, June
2nd. Please keep this event and the people who attend in your prayers as we
desire to share the Gospel with our community.

Recommended Reading:
Heaven, by Randy Alcorn [first recommended in 2010]
This is the most life-changing book I have read in years! Want to know where you are
going as a Christian? Read this book. Want to encourage an eternal perspective in your
life. Read this book. Got questions about heaven? This book has answers.
Alcorn speculates in some areas and give his imagination credible rein. But this book is
soundly biblical. You will find yourself checking out cross references constantly. You
will also find yourself amazed at what you have read before and overlooked. Where is
heaven located? Won’t heaven be a little boring? Will heaven be familiar? Will we
know each other in heaven? Where will we live in heaven? Will there be music and art
and culture in heaven? Will we eat and drink in heaven? What will our bodies be like in
heaven? Are there animals in heaven? What does restoration really mean? These are
just a few of the questions that the book addresses. Some of the answers will surprise
you. Check it out.
Northern Colorado Christian Academy would love for your child to join us for
the 2017/2018 school year! We have extended our enrollment deadline to June
30th. If you have a child entering Kindergarten through 5th grade in the fall of
2017 and are interested in learning more about a classical Christian education,
please contact Adrienne Haythorn at 970-703-6222 or
ahaythorn@nocochristian.org.
