The Lord is our peace.

The Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord. v. 1
The power of the Midianites was oppressive. v. 2
The Israelites hid in caves. v. 2
The Israelites cried out to the Lord. v. 6
Time to Re prioritize! (Judges 6:7-10)

The Lord sent the Israelites a prophet. v. 7
“I delivered you from the Egyptians.”
We must put God first.

The angel of the Lord came to Gideon. v. 11
“The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.” v. 12
“The Lord has abandoned us and given us into the hand of the Midianites.” v. 13
The Lord said to him, “Am I not sending you?” v. 14
Gideon says he is the least of all. v. 15
The Lord reminds him that I AM is with you. v. 16

Gideon builds an altar and calls it “YAHWEH Shalom”. v. 24
