Legend Of Origin Of Praise
There is an old Jewish legend which says that, after God had created the world, He called the angels to Him and asked them what they thought of it; and one of them said, “One thing is lacking: the sound of praise to the Creator.” So God created music, and it was heard in the whisper of the wind, and in the song of the birds; and to man also was given the gift of song. And all down the ages this gift of song has indeed proved a blessing to multitudes of souls.

Then Moses and the people of Israel sang this song to the Lord, saying,
“I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously;
the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.
The Lord is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation;
this is my God, and I will praise him,
my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
Adoration is intense admiration culminating in reverence and worship, together with the outward acts and attitudes which accompany such reverence.
This intense admiration is brought together with outward actions that point to a God who can do what we can not do for ourselves! As we partake in the communion let us think about the God we serve.
“Christian Spirituality means following the risen Christ, in the power of the Spirit, to the glory and praise of the Father”
