In the beginning the Spirit moved upon the face of the waters. In the beginning was the Word. When they met something happened.
Jesus was the Word. For 30 years Jesus did not miracles. When Jesus the Word was baptised the Scriptures say the Spirit descends upon the Word. From that time forth, things began to happen.
The Spirit and the Word are connected in Ephesians, the Sword of the Spirit is said to be the Word of God.
