Thanksgiving:

Psalm 69:30-31: psalmist values thanksgiving more than sacrifice

1 Chron. 16:4; 23:30- David employed Levites to commemorate and give thanks to the Lord.

Eph. 1:15-16 Connection between thanksgiving and remembering

Luke 17:15-16 cleansed leper came back to thank Jesus for healing him

Romans 1:21- they did not honor God or give thanks to him

Eph 5:20- giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father

1 Th 5:18- give thanks in all circumstances

1 Cor. 14:16-17 giving thanks with the mind (verbally) is more beneficial to others in a corporate setting than doing so in spirit
