Introduce Integrity est. & LifeReach
Purpose: Live with purpose… After dad died that drove me to do more. Allow those things that have affected your life be an outlet for your creativity.
Often times we allow major events in our lives to drive us to the worst, maybe you fall into a depression or you feel like you get into a rut. But I’m here to help you change your view on whatever life altering event you’ve gone through or are going through and allow it to motivate you instead of stifle you.
So many people go down a dark hole, they go to a dark place when they are hurt or when events take place that they cannot control.
And what happens to a lot of people is they lose their purpose, in the process. (repeat)
And when one has no purpose, we are just going through the stages of life. Just going through the motions.
Im not going to get spiritual, or biblical but when God created you, it was with a purpose. And I can tell you that purpose, was not just to simply go through the stages of life.
Story: Life’s Purpose
Some time ago, psychologist William Moulton Marston asked three thousand persons, “What have you to live for.”
He was shocked to find that 94 percent were simply enduring the present while waiting for the future.
They would describe this as waiting for “something” to happen—waiting for children to grow up and leave home, waiting for next year, waiting for another time to take a long-dreamed-about vacation, waiting for tomorrow...
They were all waiting without realizing that all anyone ever has is today… Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised.
I challenge you to release the past, and step into your God given purpose. Stop waiting and start living.
2. Patience: It’s crazy because
1) I just told you to live out your purpose, but then
2) Im telling you, but hold on and have patience..
Just because you have found a purpose, make sure you don’t rush into anything.
And this goes for any business venture.
Many people rush into ventures only to see them fail, or not have the ability to sustain them. You run on the fuel of the excitement to start something new, then when the newness wears off, you don’t want to pursue it anymore.
I had this clothing line on my heart and mind for over 20 years but never felt the timing was right.
It took many years to get here but I wanted it done right.
Don’t just rush into things, without a game plan. Take the time to plan and prepare for your idea to have endurance, to work.
3. Plan:
“If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!”
“If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!”
― Benjamin Franklin
What does your day look like???
Are you making the most of your time.
One of the main things I like to do is plan my day.
If you plan your day, you will accomplish more, and also feel accomplished seeing things checked off your to do list.
Theres a book written by a mentor of mine thats titled The Power of a half hour.
So much of our day is wasted on mindless scrolling on our phones or trying to research our symptoms to diagnose what we have.
We don’t even realize how much time we waste throughout the day, until you really pay attention.
Do you know how productivity you can have in a half hour if you plan? The Power in your productivity is in your planning.
Time is the most significant, non-renewable, resource at our disposal. And we waste so much of it, without even realizing it.
Even important meetings can be a half an hour and still be very productive if staying on task. Have you ever sat through a work meeting and thought why are we here for so long, nothing is getting accomplished?
I was already using this practice but this book gave some great tips.
Theres even an app that i found that helps this process.
