The Blessing Part 2
Job 36:29 Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?
INTRODUCTION
Good morning! We are in this series on the Blessing. When we think about blessings, many of us we think on the line of material things, and some of us we will think about Spiritual blessing.
But through out the Word of God, rain has been associate with blessings.
Ezek 34:26 I will bless My people and their homes around My holy hill. And in the proper season I will send the showers they need. There will be showers of blessing.
Here in the Book of Ezekiel is a wonderful passage – one that brings a sense of refreshing in a time of drought.
The entire section of scripture describes God’s promise to His people to bless them as they seek Him.
The period of time in which this was written is one of barrenness, due to the people of God being misled and not following His ways.
God promises that a time of blessings will come as His people seek Him in Spirit and truth.
John 4:23 But the time is coming—indeed it's here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship Him that way.
John 4:24 For God is Spirit, so those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth."
I want to say to you today that it is not God's will for the church or an individual Christian to live in spiritual dryness.
It is not right for us to have a mixture of waterless souls and withered, barren branches in our lives.
God wants us under the fountain where His glory comes out. God does not want you to have just droplets of blessing but rather it is His desires that you are drenched in His goodness.
We are to dwell where the waters of Spiritual blessing flow freely.
Job 36:27 He draws up the water vapor and then distills it into rain.
How rain comes forth is amazing!!
Heat from the Sun turns moisture (water) from plants and leaves, as well as oceans, lakes, and rivers, into water invisible vapour (gas), which disappears into the air.
These invisible vapour rises, cools, and changes into tiny water droplets, which form clouds. ... When the water droplets get too large and heavy, they fall as rain.
Water vapor turns into clouds when it cools and condenses—that is, turns back into liquid water or ice.
In order to condense, the water vapor must have something solid to attach onto.
In other words, For the clouds that are load down to burst forth the rain.
This thing that is solid this small “seed”could be a speck of dust or pollen.
So for blessings to come in a way that will drench us their a process that take place.
Clouds need to get loaded up.
Zec 14:17 Any nation in the world that refuses to come to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of Heaven's Armies, will have no rain.
No worship, no rain, little worship, little rain,
So if we have little worship going on we will have little blessings.
If we have no worship going on then we will have no blessings.
Remember we load the clouds by the sun shining down on the water pulling these invisible vapors.
There are nine different invisible vapors that load up and form the clouds that bring the blessings on God’s people.
This all deals with our worship, Your worship will form the clouds and rain, which always represents the blessings of God.
There are three different section of worship, with three different elements
a. Deals with the mouth.
Speak- by saying Thank you Jesus, I love you Jesus, use your voice to praise Him.
Psalm 34:1 I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak His praises.
Try it look at the person next to you and I love Jesus.
Sing
Psalm 7:17 I will thank the LORD because He is just; I will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
Psalm 9:2 I will be filled with joy because of You. I will sing praises to Your name, O Most High.
Psalm 13:6 I will sing to the LORD because He is good to me.
Psalm 66:8 Let the whole world bless our God and loudly sing His praises.
When the Lord’s army would go out the ones leading the charge was the singers.
Shout
Psalm 40:16 But may all who search for You be filled with joy and gladness in You. May those who love Your salvation repeatedly shout, "The LORD is great!"
Psalm 95:1 Come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
Understand nothing goes up, nothing comes down.
Shout to the Lord!!!
You are the next contest on the price is right!
You just won a million dollars!
Many of you will shout when you kids score, or your team score.
The other section;
2. Hands
Raise your hands!
Psalm 28:2 Listen to my prayer for mercy as I cry out to You for help, as I lift my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.
Psalm 63:4 I will praise You as long as I live, lifting up my hands to You in prayer.
Psalm 134:2 Lift up holy hands in prayer, and praise the LORD.
Psalm 143:6 I lift my hands to You in prayer. I thirst for You as parched land thirsts for rain.
Raise your hands as you pray, raise your hands as you praise.
Right now come on, raise your hands, form and fill the clouds for your blessings to come down.
Clap your hands
Psalm 47:1 Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise!
Oh, clap your hands, the clapping of hands draws attention to something, usually as an outward expression of inward joy.
Clapping for praise:
Clap your hands meaning great Job!!
Playing instruments
Psa 33:3 Sing a new song of praise to Him; play skillfully on the harp, and sing with joy.
Play those instruments to bring praise to God.
Psalm 150:4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
3. The whole body
Standing in His presence.
2 Ch 29:11 My sons, do not neglect your duties any longer! The LORD has chosen you to stand in His presence, to minister to Him, and to lead the people in worship and present offerings to Him."
Dance
Psalm 149:3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
Psalm 150:4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance:
We know that David dance before the Lord.
2 Samuel 6:14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.
Kneeling or Laying before the Lord.
1 Kings 8:54 And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.
Mark 1:40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
2 Ch 7:3 When all the people of Israel saw the fire coming down and the glorious presence of the LORD filling the Temple, they fell face down on the ground and worshiped and praised the LORD, saying, "He is good! His faithful love endures forever!"
Luke 17:16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
So if I am understanding this the second thing: Is there must be something coming from the earth to burst the clouds, it could be a simple as a small speck of dust.
And then the clouds that have been load up will unload the rain.
Can I tell you that an act of faith be that speck that will cause the rain to come down. The clouds have been loaded up
Matt 17:20 "I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible. "
So are loading up the clouds and are you sending up the speck of faith to burst the clouds to let the rain fall.
Remember Elijah, praying with passion for rain, 7 times he send his servant to see if the clouds where.
On the last time, the seventh time, seven being completion.
Elijah’s servant said he seen a cloud as small a a man’s hand.
Elijah told his servant go tells Ahad that it is going
