Come to the water:

Recently, kaye and I had the opportunity to go tot he eastern shore of Maryland. Our initial intentions were to be able to go to our salisbury MD church, which we ha not been there for some time. We made plans to be able to stay in ocean city - about a 45 minute or so drive front he beach. We picked our place- right on the ocean, well we had the boardwalk there as well. The boardwalk, didn't draw us there.

The “ boardwalk life” of the beach was shut down, it wasn't even the hopes of warmer weather. What drew us, is the same element that draws many people, many different places. The water compels us. One of the best , restful, peaceful parts of going where we were, is that - you can see the sunrise on the ocean, go out with your morning coffee, and bible and take it all in. We had our breakfast on the balcony, and our quiet time with the word of God, each other, and we had an opportunity to listen and call out to God.

Peaceful places draw people to God.

The night was just as pleasant, maybe a bit more.. We would leave our sliding glass dooor open, the curtains just a bit- and we would go o sleeep with the the waves crashing around us- or it seems that they were crashing around us.
